Overcome internal barriers to unlock your true potential
Hello, I’m Abby, a experienced integrative counsellor and proud member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). If you’re ready to overcome internal barriers and unlock your full potential, I offer a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to begin your journey.
I adhere to the highest ethical standards, ensuring your trust is met with professionalism and respect. Your confidentiality is my utmost priority. I believe that everyone encounters psychological challenges at various points in life, and seeking support is a courageous step toward transformation.
Are you someone who feels like you experience the world differently from those around you? Do you notice details others miss, or think in patterns and concepts that set you apart? Perhaps you find social situations overwhelming, yet you have a rich inner world of thoughts and ideas. Maybe your mind races with creativity and innovation, but conventional routines leave you feeling constrained.
Do your thoughts, behaviours, or ways of processing information not quite align with what’s considered “typical”? You might have wondered if you have ADHD, autism, or another form of neurodiversity—even without an official diagnosis. You may feel both the challenges and unique strengths that come with seeing the world through a different lens.
If this resonates with you, I specialize in supporting individuals just like you. As a counsellor experienced in working with neurodiverse people—whether diagnosed or simply feeling different—I provide a compassionate and understanding space where you can explore your experiences without judgment. Together, we can navigate your unique perspective, harness your strengths, and address any challenges you face. I believe in embracing your authentic self and empowering you to thrive in your own way.
If you’re seeking support tailored to your unique experiences, I’m here to help you get out of your own way and unlock your full potential. Let’s work together to embrace who you are and find strategies that work for you.
Our minds can sometimes be our biggest obstacles. By reprogramming internal thought patterns that block your potential, I help you get out of your own way to achieve the growth you desire. Healing comes from within, and once recognized, I can support you in this transformative process.
Personalized Support Tailored to You
I work with individuals from all walks of life, addressing a wide range of issues—both familiar and unexpected. "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am then I can change"
Carl Rogers
My path to becoming a counsellor began when I found myself stuck in my own life. I had done significant personal development through 12-step work, which helped me build self-awareness—a process that remains part of my daily routine. However, unresolved childhood trauma led me to seek the help of a counsellor. The experience was transformative, prompting my decision to follow a career in counselling. My own journey wasn't always easy however the thought of one day helping others as my counsellor had helped me kept me driving forward, everyone deserves the right to good mental health.

Self Help Tip
Recovering from narcissistic abuse is a journey of self-healing and reclaiming your sense of self. The after effects can feel overwhelming, but with patience and care, you can rebuild your confidence and inner peace.
Start by recognizing that what you went through was real and that your emotions are valid.
Gaslighting and manipulation may have made you doubt yourself, but regaining trust in your own perceptions is key.
Setting boundaries is essential. You don’t owe anyone access to your energy, especially those who continue to drain you. Distance yourself from toxic influences, whether that means limiting contact or going no-contact altogether. It’s okay to put yourself first.
Your self-worth may have been chipped away but remember that you are not who they made you feel like. Reconnect with your own identity by rediscovering hobbies, interests, and goals that bring you joy. Surround yourself with supportive people who affirm your experiences and remind you of your strength.
Healing also involves processing your emotions which can be achieved through counselling. It’s normal to feel anger, grief, or even guilt, but none of this defines you. Forgive yourself for what you didn’t see at the time and be gentle with your healing process.
Trust can be difficult to rebuild, both in yourself and in others. Take small steps in forming new relationships, and don’t rush your healing. Your boundaries and intuition are now your best guides. Reclaiming your life after narcissistic abuse isn’t just about moving on—it’s about rediscovering your strength, knowing your worth, and understanding that you deserve peace, love, and respect.
Upon first contact, we'll schedule a convenient time for an introductory phone consultation. This conversation will allow us to determine if we are well-suited for collaboration. Should you choose to proceed, we can establish regular sessions tailored to your needs. If not, I have an extensive network of specialized therapists to whom I can refer you.
Taking that initial step toward seeking support can feel daunting, but it’s a courageous and meaningful step toward self-discovery. Remember, every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Based in Chelmsford, Essex, I offer online counselling and psychotherapy via Zoom and WhatsApp.

Each session will run for 50 minutes at an agreed time and day each week.
